Some songs from the recording that didn't quite make the cut. They're not bad at all--pretty good, actually. But I'm convinced that the best songs made it onto the album. It's interesting, listening back to these tracks. My ideas about the overall color and theme of the record changed as the songwriting went on, and as my own perspective changed with time. I'm struck by how much more somber--maybe more final--a tone that Blurring would have taken on, had I left these songs in. Obviously something had turned in the way I was thinking about things--hopefully for the better. I threw in a particularly noisy early mix of "Disturbances of Spring" too, just for fun.  Hüsker Dü fans will get the reference. Anyway, enjoy.
